Important information on Kid Privacy

What information is collected?
Reading Tree collects information in a few places. During Sign-Up kids submit their login name, password, gender, grade, city and state. During Sign-In, we record the time and date so we can know when the user last visited Reading Tree. Throughout the site kids can answer polls, rate/review books, and put books on their bookshelf. Information is not linked to name, address, e-mail address, phone, or other information that could personally identify a kid at any point. Any information provided by a kid at any time, including on chat and message boards, that could identify them will be removed. All information Reading Tree collects (other than time and date of last login) is stuff a kid has to submit intentionally by clicking a "submit" or some other kind of button.

How will the information be used?
All information is used to identify a kid within ReadingTree, to allow kids to express their opinions on books, or to provide material for better personal recommendations.

Will Reading Tree share information with anyone else?
Reading Tree does not share information on individual or groups of kids with any other group.
