Privacy
What information is collected?
ReadingTree
collects information in a few places. During Sign-Up
kids submit their login name, password, gender, grade and state.
Later they have the option to add their city and a personal statement.
During Sign-In, we record the time and date so we
can know when the user last visited Reading Tree.
Throughout the site kids can answer polls, rate/review
books, and put books on their bookshelf.
Information
is not linked to name, address, e-mail address, phone, or other
information that could personally identify a kid at any point.
Any information provided by a kid at any time, including on chat
and message boards, that could identify them will be removed.
All information
ReadingTree collects (other than time and date of last login)
is stuff a kid has to submit intentionally by clicking a "submit"
or some other kind of button.
How will the information
be used?
All information
is used to identify a kid within ReadingTree, to allow kids to
express their opinions on books, or to provide material for better
personal recommendations.
Will ReadingTree share information
with anyone else?
ReadingTree
does not share information on individual or groups of kids with
any other group.
