About Us
BriefBank is a BriefBank is a free, community-supported resource that
collects and redistributes briefs
in the area of law, technology, and public policy. BriefBank is a
supplementary resource designed to help
researchers who already have significant knowledge of the legal domain.
BriefBank is a concentrated
collection in a narrow legal area, allowing us to provide a depth of
information not presently available in disparate
competing systems.
Briefs are generously donated by legal scholars and partner
organizations like the Electronic Frontier
Foundation and the Media Access Project.
BriefBank is sponsored by the Samuelson Law, Technology, and Public Policy
Clinic at Boalt Hall School of Law at the
University of California, Berkeley.
The Samuelson Clinic is responsible for system administration and staff support.
BriefBank is hosted at the School of Information Management and Systems (SIMS)
at the University of California, Berkeley. BriefBank was developed by graduate
students at SIMS.
If you would like to suggest additional features or volunteer to help us improve
our system, please contact
the BriefBank team.
