I'm currently a 2nd year Master's student at UC Berkeley's School of Information Management (graduating in May 2006) with a focus in Human-Computer Interaction, Usability, and XML technologies. My SIMS experience has enabled me to learn and practice important usability and user-centered design methodologies that will play an essential part in my career as an information management professional. Through hands-on work in team projects and exposure to the unique resources that SIMS offers, I've gained a strong foundation in understanding, analyzing and working with people and information technologies.

Building on nearly 10 years of experience with the web in various sectors (non-profit, education, commercial companies), I am interested in finding employment in usability, user experience, prototyping, information architecture or interaction design with the skills that I've picked up through SIMS. My web development and teamwork experience has also taught me how to communicate effectively with people from diverse backgrounds ranging from engineering, design, marketing to product management.
